The car has been in the family since late 80's. Was garaged from 1991 till 2008, came out of retirement 2008 until 2012 and was parked again. Been slowly replacing things for the past several months. Car has new front brake rotors, bearings, pads, calipers and lines, new rear drums, shoes, spring kits, wheel cylinders and line. All new fluids and filters, tach/turbo gauge, carpet kit, tune up, several hoses, valve cover gaskets, tires, battery, power seat transmission & motor, and more. The original stereo did not work so it was replaced with a modern stereo (No Wires Cut - still have original). New alarm system, keyless entry and remote start. Everything works except the AC (needs recharge R-12). Transmission was rebuilt in 2011 has very few miles on it. I have only driven the car roughly 10 miles, but the car performed and did great. The only thing I noticed is the brake pedal is a little slow to rebound back to the top (possible sticky-rusty pivot pin in the dash from sitting). The paint shows some Lacquer check but still polishes up pretty good. Has a few minor little door dings in it as well. No broken glass, all power windows and moonroof work well. These are original miles, not a roll over. After doing quite a bit of research I found that Buick made less than 2400 of these cars in 1986. Which is less than half as many Grand nationals making this car rarer. The car is almost 40 years old and sat most of its life. Like any 40-year-old car there is always something to tinker with or perfect. The car's potential to be a show car is there for the right person. I don't have the time or the place to store it any longer. The car is only growing in value every year.
